- eyeo wins landmark copyright court decision; protects digital rights and sets important legal precedent for who ”˜owns’ HTML – Media org Axel Springer (German gutter press, not the science publisher) lost its court case against Eyeo (Adblock Plus). They were sad at its sites’ ads being blocked, and claimed that the HTML of their sites is copyright, so blocking or changing any of it is copyright infringement. Herr Judge said “Keine Chance, du kolossaler Schweinehund. Verpiss dich.”
